The indoor season is almost done.
Outdoor track begins in April. Training will focus on preparing athletes for their school meets.
There may be periodic club meets.

November 12  AO Champs
Congratulations to our U10 girls who won the Ontario Championships. The team was made up of Madyn, Olivia, Logan and Abigail.
The U10 boys made up of Bemi, Hunter, Olivier and John won the team silver.

Week of October 22
Congratulations to all of our runners who ran in their City finals this week. All 12 HS runners qualified for OFSAA. Madyn, Trinity and Emmett won gold medals.
Liam and Cecil won silver.

Week of October 15
Congratulations to our elementary runners . All runners qualified for City finals.

Week of October 8
The first round of elementary school meets are now complete. Fantastic results. 13 medalists and  8 other top tens. City qualifications are next week. Check results page.

Congratulations to our runners at the AO Championships for grade 7 and under held March 25,26. We had some fabulous results. 
Eden won 3 gold medals in the 60m, 150m and 300m.
Gold medals were won by Liam in the 800m and Olivia in the 300m who also won bronze in the 1000m.
Liam joined Atticus, Zeke and Malachy in winning the 4x200m relay.
Atticus won gold in the 300m and silver in the 150m
Logan won silvers in the 300m,600m and bronze in the 150m
John won bronze in the 600m and 1000m
The 4x800m relay team of Malachy, Matthew,
Atticus and Zeke won silver.
 




October 29,2022
The MTA XC Championships were held in Niagara Falls. The club had a great day. We won the greatest number of age group team championships with 4. We won the mite girls, Atom boys and Intermediate boys and girls. We had 9 medalists. Cecil won gold, Liam, Eden, Clare, Owen and Hunter won silver while Claire, Caius and Logan won bronze.

October 28,2022
The City Championships are now complete for our runners. It was quite the success. We had 6 City champions. Logan, Eden, Emmett, Justin, Claire and Cecil all won gold at their meets. We also had 6 other medalists. Joseph, Liam,Julia, Grace, Matthew and Trinity all finished in the top 3. Congratulations to the other 14 for qualifying for their City finals. 


October 18,2022
All of our elementary level runners have now completed the Cross Country Regionals toward City finals.  Of our 24 runners, all have qualified for their City finals.  12 won medals at Regionals while 22 were top 10 qualifiers. Fantastic results for our club. City Finals 2022 are being held week of Ocober 24.



 
The 2022 Cross Country season has begun.
The team had a meet at Sunnybrook Park.
Cecil won his age group 4km while Caius placed 2nd.
Thea was 1st in her 4k while Claire H and Clare D were  2nd and 3rd
.
In 2km, Liam was 1st while  Malachy, Matthew, Cole and Atticus placed 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th in their division.
Justin placed 2nd in his division.
Trinity won her division while Isabelle was 2nd.
Lucy placed 4th.
In the 1Km,  Grace was 1st and Eden was 2nd
Felix placed 2nd while Bemi was 3rd and John was 4th despite being 3 years younger than the winners.
Our grade 3 girls competed against grade 6s.  Logan placed 3rd, Olivia was 5th and Abigail was 7th.



Congrats to Ciahan who qualified for OFSAA in the 400m and 800m. She won bronze in the 400m and 800m at OFSAA.


Indoor season ended in April. Despite training outdoors all winter, the boys and girls had a great season. We had 17 runners compete and every one of them won at least one medal in either the MTA Provincials or the Athletics Ontario Championships. Cecil won championships at both meets as did Liam. Eden also won multiple gold medals 

A small group of runners competed at the Athletics Ontario Championships in Kingston in November, 2021. The club had a very successful day led by Cecil and Liam who both won Gold medals. Malachy won silver and Logan and Matthew won bronze.
The team of Liam, Malachy, Matthew and Atticus won the Ontario Gold medal.
The U14 boys team of Cecil, Sebastian, Caius and Owen placed 4th.

A Club record day at the MTA Provincial Cross Country Championships. Five teams were entered and all five came away with medals including gold for the grade 6,7 boys team. We also had a record 3 individual medalists. Cecil and Emmett won silver and Abi won bronze.  9 runners placed in the top 10. A great day for all as everyone got to play in the mud.



Congratulations to Clare D and Thea B who both won their High School championship races and qualify for OFSAA in Peterborough on November 6.  At OFSAA, Thea placed 12th in Junior Girls and Clare placed 19th in the Novice Girls.

The Club won medals in 12 events at the Championships led by Logan Batchelor with 2 gold medals
Cecil Jenkins won the senior boys 1500m

The Karim brothers won 4 medals between them. Emmett won silvers in the 800 and 1500 while Felix won bronze in the 800 and 1200
Our relay teams were in 3 events and medaled in all of them.

Ciahan, Thea, Clare and Claire won silver
Cecil, Sean, Sebastian and Caius won bronze
